NFL Blitz: The Joker gropes Jimmy Graham, Brad Wing meets Justin Bieber, John Brown can touchdown dance

HERE’S something you won’t read every day — a Saints fan dressed as The Joker groped New Orleans tight end, Jimmy Graham.

CHECK out the weird and wacky things you might have missed in week ten of the NFL.

JOKER GROPES GRAHAM

Here’s something you won’t read every day — a Saints fan dressed as The Joker groped tight end Jimmy Graham. In true New Orleans style, the ‘Who Dat’ Nation are known to love dressing up in all sorts of outrageous costumes. So in that sense The Joker outfit isn’t so out of the ordinary. The groping, however. Yes, Graham is an excellent player, but when he leaps up to acknowledge the fans after scoring yet another touchdown, butt grabbing is way out of order.

AUSSIES IN ACTION

Coming off an outstanding week where he threw a two-point conversion for the Steelers, punter Brad Wing had two 46 yarders in a fairly quiet night in a loss to the lowly Jets. After a couple of stellar weeks for Pittsburgh, the defeat was blamed on pop star and sporting jinx Justin Bieber who crashed the team’s bible study. Among those who met Biebs, was Wing. We hope none of that bad juju rubs off on the Aussie.

WILD TOUCHDOWN CELEBRATION

This week’s best touchdown dance award goes to rookie, John Brown. The Arizona receiver is proving to be a firecracker wildcard weapon for the Cardinals offense. His ridiculous leaping catch for a touchdown against St Louis is a thing of beauty, but this celebration is even better. It’s a mess of arms and hips but somehow, it works. Check it out.

Days after signing a contract extension work $A54.1 million, Arziona’s quarterback Carson Palmer tore his ACL against the Rams. It’s not the first time this has happened either. The last time he signed a contract extension Palmer suffered the same injury. Grabbing his left knee the moment it happened, the Cards leaders was carted off the field, visibly upset by the season-ending injury, just as his team command an 8-1 record.

PEYTON BLANKS HIS BACKUP

Peyton Manning had a great day against the Oakland Raiders in week ten. When the Broncos held a comfortable 41-10 lead in the third quarter, Manning’s backup Osweiler was called in. But as Manning was meant to run off and Osweiler grabbed his helmet to run on, the former Colts gunslinger instead headed back to the line of scrimmage. The camera angle beautifully captured Osweiler’s classic reaction. Osweiler would eventually finish out the game in the fourth quarter, but this moment was his main highlight.

SPOOKY RED EYES

This will give you nightmares, you’ve been warned. Buffalo Bills’ Mario Williams was rocking a new look this week. On his eyes.

A week after Halloween the defensive end looked positively terrifying wearing bright red contact lenses during the game against the Chiefs.

ANDY REID DOPPELGANGER

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid has a signature look, that’s for sure. And fans love to dress up for the football game. So we’re giving kudos to this fan who nailed his costume, impeccably dressed as Reid. Try and spot the difference, we dare you.

YOU WOULDN’T WANT TO BE A JETS FAN

It’s not easy being a Jets fan, even in New York. Inconsistent quarterbacks, a struggling team, constantly the butt of all jokes. This led one man to spoof the viral video of a New York woman copping harassment, and show what life is like walking through New York as a Jets supporter. Sure it’s scripted, but we still feel it’s fairly accurate.

FANTASY WATCH

Brandin Cooks — Averages more than 12 points a game at home and it just so happens the battling Bengals come to town in week 11.

Mark Sanchez — Proof is in the pudding from his first week leading the explosive Philly offense. Going forward he looks confident to continue firing in Chip Kelly’s quarterback friendly system.

C.J Anderson — With Ronnie Hillman out Denver is looking to go with a hot-hand approach and Anderson was more damaging in week ten than Montee Ball has looked all year.

Steven Jackson — The veteran turned in his best performance of the season last week, and has scored touchdowns in back-to-back games. Facing a toothless Panthers defence, Jackson is worth a look-in.

Texans D — In case the Houston D was dropped in the bye week, snap them back up off the waivers ASAP. Facing Cleveland that should be easy points.

VINCE LOMBARDI QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“If you’re lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he’s never going to come off the field second.”

This week’s quote is for Mark Sanchez who looks completely rejuvenated since his dog days at the Jets. Now heading the Philadelphia offense with QB1 Nick Foles, the quarterback is two from two and looks like he’s rediscovered the form that once earned him the nickname ‘The Sanchise’ in New York.
