FORMER Fremantle midfielder Max Duffy’s US gamble has paid off.
The three-game Docker quit WAFL club West Perth in February to pursue a career as a punter in American football and has landed at the University of Kentucky.

The powerhouse university is better known for basketball having developed the likes of John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rajon Rondo.
Former Wildcats who have become NFL stars include Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb and Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan.

Duffy tweeted his move to Kentucky after visiting the university, based in Lexington.
The 24-year-old is a graduate of the hugely successful Prokick Australia academy run by former Hawthorn and Brisbane player Nathan Chapman.
Last month, former Saint Aaron Siposs was offered a scholarship to gridiron powerhouse Auburn while Jordan Berry, Brad Wing and Lachlan Edwards are currently punters in the NFL.
