Evander Kane of the Winnipeg Jets is facing a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety for his check from behind on Anaheim Ducks defender Clayton Stoner.

Kane was ejected from the game and will likely miss more time on the ice for the blatant foul. Stoner bounced straight back up and dropped his gloves landing a couple of punches before being pulled away; it was the least Kane deserved for the cowardly shot from behind.
