Brisbane Lions forward Charlie Cameron has tied the knot with his long-time partner Caitlin Seeto in a stunning ceremony on the Gold Coast over the weekend.

Seeto, a solicitor, looked radiant in a classic A-line silk wedding gown adorned with a lace-trimmed train and sparkling jewels.

Meanwhile, Cameron looked sharp in a classic tuxedo with a bow tie.

The couple made a grand entrance to their reception, dancing atop a mezzanine to the cheers of their guests before enjoying an intimate sit-down dinner under lavish chandeliers.

The wedding marked a joyful moment for the 30-year-old AFL star, coming off a season filled with triumphs, including the 2024 Premiership win, and controversies.

Cameron faced criticism just weeks ago after he was accused of snubbing a young Auskick fan during the Grand Final medal presentation, but his wedding was a clear high note to end the year on.

Cameron’s wedding wasn’t the only high-profile sporting nuptials over the weekend.

Brisbane Broncos star Cory Paix, 24, also said “I do” to his long-time partner Keeley Malcolm in a picturesque ceremony in Toowoomba on Friday.

The couple, who have been together since high school, exchanged vows at the Preston Peak Functions venue, under a majestic tree in front of close family and friends.

Malcolm dazzled in an elegant floral gown by Ella Moda, while Paix looked sharp in a tailored grey suit.

Meanwhile, Queensland Maroons assistant coach and former Manly Sea Eagles player Matt Ballin also tied the knot on Saturday, the same day as AFL star Charlie Cameron. Ballin married Channel 7 reporter Alissa Smith in a charming outback-themed wedding on his family’s farm in Kingaroy.

Ballin, 40, and Smith, who first met six years ago, exchanged vows in a rustic ceremony that embraced the couple’s country roots.
