TWO jockeys were taken to hospital after being injured in a race fall at Pinjarra on Thursday afternoon.

TWO jockeys were taken to hospital after being injured in a race fall at Pinjarra on Thursday afternoon.

Steven Parnham and Clint Harvey were felled during Race 3 at about 1.30pm, with both receiving bruising but reportedly conscious.

Initial reports were Parnham sustained a suspected facial fractures and Harvey suffered shoulder and neck injuries.

The incident happened at about the 600m mark of the race.

The pair was transported to Peel Health Campus immediately, with racing delayed at the track by more than 30 minutes.
