Australia won the international 3-2 over Canada.

Great uncle Tommy, like young George, was a left-footed defender. And the connection goes further in that George started playing the game while living over in Canada with his family; the same country against whom great uncle Tommy made his Australia debut against.

George is part of the Manchester City Football School at St Laurence’s College and hopes to continue the family legacy of playing football at the top level.
