Gold Coast clubs are wasting no time in naming their 2025 senior men’s and women’s rugby league rosters, with one showing off a lineup decorated with former NRL names.
The Burleigh Bears have secured a trio of high-profile talents to cap off their Hostplus Cup side including New Zealand Warriors hooker Paul Roache, Parramatta Eels winger Lorenzo Mulitalo and premiership winning Panther Tyrone Peachey.
Fourteen Bears have re-signed for the 2025 season including skipper Sami Sauiluma, while four Northern Pride names make the move down south.
The Tweed Seagulls were first to kickstart their women’s signings news with the announcement of Allira Watson and Mia Dendle putting pen to paper.
Tweed have named 17 squad members as of December 2024; eight returning from the 2024 season and nine donning new colours.
