LUCKLESS Wallabies winger Joe Tomane is out of first Test reckoning after suffering a small fracture in a toe on his left foot at training.
It is a cruel blow for the powerful ACT Brumbies winger who was a big shot of playing in the opening Test against the British and Irish Lions in Brisbane on June 22.
Tomane, 23, sustained the injury yesterday during a training session for the Wallabies at their Stockland Stadium training base on the Sunshine Coast.
MRI scans today picked up the tiny crack. He will be back in consideration later in the series.
