Toilet roll hysteria is serving one useful purpose, with Wallaby great George Smith teaming up with childhood idol Gorden Tallis to raise funds for struggling sporting clubs and community groups.
Rather than a Bronco or Wallaby crest on the chest, it's now a toilet roll logo for Smith, league legend Tallis, two-time Grand Slam tennis champion Pat Rafter and other leading sports stars.
When you buy a T-shirt or cap online in the "Just Roll With It" campaign, $10 is directed from every sale to the sporting association, business, school or community group you nominate.

“It's a fantastic initiative because it's supporting people in small business and sporting organisations who are doing it tough at the moment,” Smith said.
“The slogan is a dig at the craziness around toilet rolls and offering the message to just do your best while following the key things: 'Listen, self-isolate and stay safe'.
“All the funds after making the products and delivering them goes to a nominated club so it's all about finding a positive out of a negative.”
The idea sprouted from sportswear company Paladin Sports where a cutback in staff hours and financial woes triggered a project to help others in the community.
Numerous celebrity endorsements on social media have come from the likes of league notables Jake and Tom Trbojevic, Luke Lewis and Tallis, former Wallabies teammates Lote Tuqiri and Matt Giteau, Olympic rugby sevens gold medallist Alicia Quirk, and English cricketer Lauren Winfield.
Winfield enjoyed her honeymoon on Queensland's Hamilton Island after the recent Women's T20 World Cup but is stranded in Australia now the borders have closed.
Promoting the T-shirts and caps for sale (www.paladinsports.com/collections/just-roll-with-it) is a healthy distraction for Smith, who has his own small business issues to worry about.
Since the recent end to his two-decade playing career, the 111-Test Wallaby has been running Croc's Playcentre at Northlakes in Brisbane.
"A big community supports us but we have more than 20 staff and we've been closed since Tuesday so there are the same challenges lots of businesses are going through," Smith said.
"I'm not sure I'm cut out to be a schoolteacher at home for my four kids but I'm doing my best and they only get to play video games as a reward when they've done their work."
