Aussie rules seasons across NSW and the ACT are well underway with hauls of goals dropping left, right and centre.

From the city to the country, forwards are starting to rack up impressive numbers for the season.

Here are the top 15 goalscorers across NSW/ACT through the King’s Birthday weekend.

1. HUGO BIRKS (UNSW-ES, SYD PREMIER, 45 GOALS)

Leading the charge in Sydney is Bulldogs dynamo Hugo Birks, who has kicked an incredible 45 goals from just seven games. Despite 23 goals in rounds five and six, was kept scoreless against Inner West.

2.RYAN BEVERIDGE (CDHBU, HUME, 39 GOALS)

Beveridge’s tally of 39 goals from eight games includes outings of zero and one to emphasise how explosive he can be. Has a personal best of 15 against Culcairn and despite six against Henty, was kept to zero by Rand-Walbundrie-Walla.

3. DYLAN JORDAN (MERIMBULA, SAPPHIRE COAST, 38 GOALS)

It will be hard work to catch up to previous tallies of 68 and 52, but Dylan Jordan is well on the way with 88 from six games. Piled on 10 against Pambula-Eden’s development side to shoot up these rankings.

4. ANDREW SWAN (EWK HAWKS, FARRER, 36 GOALS)

A blistering start to the season from Swan saw him kick 29 goals in his first five games. Slowed down a tough, but re-found his best with an impressive tally of four against TRYC.

5. FERGUS INGLIS (COLLINGULLIE WAGGA, RIVERINA RESERVES, 35 GOALS)

Leads the Riverina Reserves by an impressive 22 goals, kicking almost three times as many as next best. Apart from a goalless outing against MCUE, Inglis has kicked 5+ in each game, earning him a call-up to firsts.

6. MURRAY STEPHENSON (WAGGA TIGERS, RIVERINA, 34 GOALS)

Scored just nine goals from seven games last year and now leads the Riverina through seven games. Had just the two against GGGM, but that’s enough to keep him in front of a hot chasing field.

7. SIENNA SMITH (SOUTHERN POWER, SYD DIV 2, 32 GOALS)

Is relishing a more forward role this year to surge clear in Sydney women’s division two with 32 majors for the season so far. A big bag of seven against Inner West has her 19 goals clear of next best in the division.

7. BUSTER WARE (BATEMANS BAY, CANB DIV 1, 32 GOALS)

Cracking first name and having an even better season. Buster Ware has been a model of consistency for the Seahawks this season with 32 goals in seven games, booting three or more in each outing, including another three against ANU.

9. SAM STENING (COLLINGULLIE WAGGA, RIVERINA, 31 GOALS)

Some fantastic outputs throughout the season have Stening right towards the top of the tree in the Riverina. Scored eight in the season opener and another two against Turvey Park keeps him in range.

9. GEORGE ALEXANDER (OSBORNE, HUME, 31 GOALS)

Rocketed into this list after a 10-goal haul against the Murray Magpies, taking his tally to 19 from his past three games. Still eight behind Beveridge but is gaining major ground.

9. NICHOLAS BUCHANAN (COOLAMON, RIVERINA, 31 GOALS)

A big haul of eight goals against Leeton Whitton has Buchanan among the big dogs of the goalscoring ranks in the strong Riverina competition. Four against Narrandera sees im rocket past the 30 mark and keep touch with Murray Stephenson.

12. JOCK CORNELL (TEMORA, FARRER, 30 GOALS)

Incredibly his haul of 30 goals from five games includes a goalless match against EWK.

Boasts a 10-goal haul against North Wagga to put him hot on the heels of Swan in the race for Farrer’s top spot. Didn’t feature in Temora’s last game.

12. MITCH STEVENS (PENRITH, SYD DIV 2, 30 GOALS)

After going scoreless in the opening round against Manly, Stevens has been electric in front of goal. He hasn’t kicked below four goals in a game since and continued that trend with four against UTS.

12. BILLY BARTON (NELSON BAY, BLACK DIAMOND SENIOR MEN, 30 GOALS)

Barton is averaging a casual 10 goals per game in his three outings for the Marlins so far in 2025. The highlight came in the opening round with an incredible haul of 15 against the Cardiff Hawks. Has been promoted to the top flight however.

12. JACK ANDISON (CDHBU, HUME, 30 GOALS)

It’s a testament to the dominance of CDHBU to have the top two on the Hume scoring list, with Andison adding 30 to go with Beveridge’s 39. Coming off two at his last outing.

*All stats correct up to 12 June. Players who have played across multiple divisions were only counted for their predominant league.
