MANY NRL tipsters got off to a stumbling start in a tough Round 1, which is why it pays to check out the advice of our experts.

All but one of our tipsters (not naming names Robert Craddock) picked five or more winners, with league writer Rikki-Lee Arnold topping the class, with six of the eight.

Follow Craddock, Peter Badel, Travis Meyn, Arnold, Mike Colman, Paul Malone and Luke Turgeon throughout the season for advice and tips.

Have they got it right for round two or are they way off the mark?

ROUND 2 FIXTURES: Roosters v Bulldogs, Warriors v Storm, Broncos v Cowboys, Knights v Titans, Manly v Rabbitohs, Raiders v Sharks, Tigers v Panthers, Dragons v Eels.

   Rikki-Lee Arnold's top tips:

   Score so far: 6

No brainer: The Roosters were on fire last week while the Bulldogs struggled. I can't see Sydney letting their form drop for this clash.

Upset: Newcastle came close to upsetting the Warriors last week and I think they could actually pull it off this week against the Titans.

Coin toss: It almost goes without saying, but the Broncos and Cowboys clash was a tough one to tip.

   Luke Turgeon's top tips:

   Score so far: 5

No brainer: Roosters have started the season well, will be too good for Bulldogs.

Upset: Warriors are outsiders at home but will ambush the Storm.

Coin toss: Battle of the big cats could go either way on Sunday.

   Peter Badel's top tips:

   Score so far: 5

No brainer: The Roosters were red hot in the first half last week. They will be too slick for an erratic Bulldogs side.

Upset: The Warriors have a habit of upsetting Melbourne when you least expect it. With Jesse Bromwich missing due to injury, this could be another boilover.

Coin toss: The Dragons-Eels clash could be a Sunday special. Parramatta haven't won at WIN Stadium for 16 years, having lost three and drawn one of their last four clashes in the 'Gong.

   Travis Meyn's top tips:

   Score so far: 5

No brainer: The Roosters looked good in round 1 while Canterbury should struggle this season.

Upset: It is impossible to predict what the Warriors will dish up and they could spring a surprise on a Melbourne team missing Jesse Bromwich.

Coin toss: The Broncos-Cowboys derby on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium should be another cracking contest.

   Mike Colman's top tips:

   Score so far: 5

No brainer: Bulldogs have no bark. Roosters to crow.

Upset: Dragons can't be that good two weeks running, can they?

Coin toss: Their last three games have been Golden Point so how can it be anything but a coin toss for Broncos-Cowboys. Cows by one.

   Paul Malone's top tips:

   Score so far: 5

No brainer: The Storm at $1.70 are if anything overs to win in Auckland over the Warriors.

Upset: Home ground advantage could get the free-flowing Tigers ($2.10) home as underdogs even though you'd have to anticipate Penrith would be more substantial after their round 1 drubbing.

Coin toss: The Dragons ($2) have lost their past four against Parramatta, which usually counts for plenty in head-to-head competition.

   Robert Craddock's top tips:

   Score so far: 4

No brainer: It's more of a head-scratcher in a tough round this week. But the Raiders could easily do a number on the Sharks.

Upset: If the Warriors are going to do anything this year the time to make a statement is against the always rugged Storm.

Coin toss: Hard to know whether West Tigers are as good as they looked in round one or Penrith were as bad.
