The rising star of Australian athletics, Gout Gout stunned the athletics world again when he broke the magical 10-second barrier for the 100m twice in one night.

When is Gout Gout’s next race?
After winning the under-20 100m title and twice breaking the magical 10-second barrier with wind-assisted 9.99sec runs, Gout Gout turns his attention to the men’s 200m race.
The 200m, where he will face Lachlan Kennedy, is on Sunday, April 13 with the heats at 2.45pm and final at 5pm AEDT.

There was excitement leading into the meet around Gout Gout potentially breaking 10 seconds on a fast track in Perth — and he did just that on the way to winning the under-20 title.
The remarkable 17-year-old clocked 9.99sec in the heat and then backed it up with the exact same time in the final of the U/20 100m at the national championships. Infortunately on both occasions there was an illegal tail wind. which meant Gout’s extraordinary feats won’t go into the official record books.
