In what Nathan Hindmarsh described as a “bit of a stitch-up”, The Late Show with Matty Johns producer Leon was the reluctant victim as he felt 26-year-old NSW Origin star Olakauatu’s wrath.

Believing he was arriving at Manly’s 4 Pines Park to work on a Face-to-Face episode, Leon was in for a shock — instead told he’d be running straight at Olakau’atu.

Even after a few nervy false starts the Manly enforcer didn’t go easy on Leon, rocking him with a brutal hit which elicited quite the reaction from Matty Johns, Nathan Hindmarsh, Brian Fletcher and the rest of the Sea Eagles players.
“That was one of the best I’ve seen to be honest with you. I don’t get excited about that sort of stuff often,” Hindmarsh said.
“Did you see Matty’s face? Matty obviously thought he was dead and then all the Manly boys were concerned for him.”
“Will I get suspended for that?” Olakau’atu quipped before the two shared an embrace, with Fletch later confirming Leon was cleared for any injuries or medical issues.
Leon, you’re an absolute legend!
