THE Warriors have continued their extensive recruitment drive for 2018 with the signature of former Panthers and Sea Eagles utility back Peta Hiku.
Hiku, who was recently selected in New Zealand’s World Cup squad, played Under 20s with New Zealand before joining Manly in 2013.
He’s signed a three-year deal to return to the club.
Capable of playing wing, fullback and centre, Hiku moved to Penrith in 2016 and played 20 games over 18 months before he was released midway through this season.
The 24-year old took up a short deal with Warrington, where he scored 10 tries in 11 games.
A nine-time New Zealand representative, Hiku was at fullback when the Kiwis claimed the 2014 Four Nations.
Hiku is the fourth New Zealand Test player to agree to join the Warriors next season, along with Tohu Harris, Adam Blair and Gerard Beale.
