THE Gold Coast Titans are confident halfback Ash Taylor will be fit to face the Warriors in New Zealand after Panthers recruit Bryce Cartwright trained in his place on Wednesday.
Taylor played a starring role in the Gold Coast’s comeback victory against Canberra last Sunday.
The No. 7 was battling hamstring tightness throughout the game and did not participate in an intense training session on Wednesday morning.

Cartwright partnered with Kane Elgey in the halves throughout the session in preparation for the Warriors clash on Saturday.
“I think he’s got a little heartilage problem,” Titans prop Jai Arrow said of Taylor.
“It’s one game in and he’s already sooking.
“I’m sure he will be all right. The coach is just resting him to get him fresh for the captain’s run.”
Centre Konrad Hurrell also sat out the session, however he and Taylor are expected to take their places against the Warriors.
The Titans will fly to New Zealand on Thursday.
