D-Day for Bronson Xerri is on June 9 with the crestfallen Cronulla star informed by ASADA it’s then that they intend to determine the results of his B-sample.
The hugely talented Cronulla Sharks centre must inform the anti-doping agency by this Tuesday if he intends to witness the opening and analysis of his B-sample, which contains the entire fate of his immediate rugby league future.
Xerri, 19, is in the midst of a storm after he was provisionally stood down by ASADA last Tuesday.
He is facing a ban of up to four years from all major sport after returning a positive A-sample to anabolic steroids.

Xerri has been sent a letter from ASADA notifying him of his 'A-sample and that; "Part B of your sample will be analysed unless you waiver your right to have it analysed.
"Part B will be analysed on Tuesday 9 June.''
ASADA retains the right to analyse the ‘B’ sample – which can be used for further evidence – even if the athlete waives their right.
Xerri has spent the past 72-hours sourcing prospective lawyers, with The Sunday Telegraph also learning Xerri had been drug tested six times by both ASADA and the NRL’s outsourced drug sample service, Sports Drug Testing International between November 2018 and March 11, this year.
His November 25 blood sample was the only test to return a positive reading.

A devastated Xerri is yet to declare publicly if he intends to fight to clear his name.
“I’m devastated but I’m bound by the system so there is not much more I can say at this stage,'' Bronson said in a prepared statement last Tuesday.
"There is a process in place that I am required to follow.
"I’m shattered I’m not playing with the boys this weekend and I wish them all the best for Saturday.”
The positive test result has stunned the NRL given Xerri's abundant talent as a junior and his widely-considered trajectory towards State of Origin stardom.
Meanwhile, the Sharks are weighing up the possibility of seeking salary cap dispensation from the NRL, if Xerri's case with ASADA drags on into the remainder of the 2020 season.
