Solid as ever with some good carries from his own end.

Not a lot of clean ball but defended well for the most part.

Didn’t have a whole lot to do but tackle well.
5. Edrick Lee – 6
Enjoying some good form at the moment and took some tough runs.
6. Matt Moylan – 8
He’s played more spectacular games, but he’s never played tougher. A terrific outing in every aspect.
7. Chad Townsend – 7
In career best form. Crucial in the early onslaught and kicked the wonky winner.
8. Andrew Fifita - 7
Another very good showing. Lifted without Gallen.
9. Jayden Brailey - 5
Tackled like a mad man, as he always does.
10. Matt Prior – 6
A mixed bag. Was immense in his first stint but had some tough moments later on.

Worked hard after he was handed the start.

Had one of his best games of the season. They missed him when he was injured.

He’s really hitting his stride right now but he gets involved with a lot of messy ruck situations.

Added another point for his remarkable surge in the lead up to the Townsend field goal.

Cronulla were on the ropes when he came on and he tried to turn the tide.

Letting a kick bounce must deeply offend him. All action, all the time.

Tried hard to spark his team, even when they were on the ropes.

We’ll never know what he was thinking late in the game. A rough one.

Penrith looked good when he got involved.

Busy, busy, busy but couldn’t hit open space.

Had one of his worst days. Nothing worked, no matter how hard he tried.

Helped spark the comeback but he’ll think about that missed field goal all summer.

Went off early and wasn’t sighted again, may have been injured.

Threw a good ball for Yeo’s try but otherwise had a tough night.

Tried hard but couldn’t make the game his own.

Was caught out defensively a couple of times but had a run for the ages.

One of his team’s best. Never, ever stops and his try was well deserved.

Did everything he could to turn the tide in the second half.

Penrith did better when he came on.

Ran some good lines and tried to fire up but couldn’t bust it open.
