THE Panthers recent recruitment drive has continued with the signing of Tigers prospect Te Maire Martin.

A clever five-eighth with wonderful hands and a nippy running game, Martin has joined Penrith on a three-year deal.

The 2014 Under 20s five-eighth of the year, Marin has been rotating between the Holden Cup and NSW Cup throughout the season and is regarded as one of the most promising players in the game.

The recruitment of Martin continues a recent trend for the Panthers of recruiting highly-touted prospects form other clubs.

The club announced last month the signing of Raiders utility back Andrew Heffernan, North Queensland prop Villiame Kikau and Parramatta hooker/halfback Zach Dockar-Clay.
