Video: Parramatta prop Junior Paulo’s sideline conversion perfection
There’s nothing better in rugby league than a goalkicking forward. And judging by Parramatta prop Junior Paulo’s accuracy from the tee, the game could have a new heavyweight sharpshooter.

Sharpshooter or hitman?
Parramatta behemoth Junior Paulo has made a name for himself running over opposition players but it seems he’s as good a goal kicker as he is a rampaging forward.
The Eels wound down a tough training session in Bega with a goal kicking competition from the sideline and Paulo didn’t miss.

Flyer Blake Ferguson was just as impressive, slotting a kick from the sideline even though he tripped over in the lead-up.
Eels coach Brad Arthur wasn’t surprised by the kicking talent from either Ferguson or Paulo.
“Fergo is either drop kicking or goal kicking, Fergo thinks he can do anything, and I’m sure he could. Junior is pretty handy as well, I don’t think he missed one did he?,” Arthur said with a laugh.
But there was more than just bragging rights on the line. The loser had to pick up the bill at lunch later that day.
“If you get it everything is free, but if you miss you have to pay for lunch and afternoon tea,” captain Clint Gutherson bargained with Michael Jennings.
Jennings missed the kick, with the ball sailing across the face of the goal posts.
New Eels recruit Reagan Campbell Gillard will be looking for his own bragging rights on Saturday night when he goes up against his former side, the Penrith Panthers, for the first time.
Coach Arthur is expecting the Panthers junior to have a target on his back.
“We got a glimpse of him last week (against South Sydney) and he was flat out a hundred miles an hour at the tryline. He didn’t have to do a lot of defence, and he only played for 20 minutes, but I was happy with what he did. I’ve been happy with how he has trained, he’s lifted the intensity in our contact room,” Arthur said.
“I know he’s up against his old club and there will be a bit of bash and barge between the two teams. As long as he’s cool headed about it and keeps his calm he’ll be OK.”
