COWBOYS veteran Matt Scott says he could not care less about how many metres he is making this season, after continued criticism of the forward’s form.
Scott, who was named in an unchanged line-up for Friday’s clash with the Panthers, has been one of the players to come under heavy scrutiny for North Queensland’s poor start to the season.

The star prop is on the comeback trail from an ACL rupture and has struggled to reach the heights he was at before his injury.
He averaged 88m over the opening seven rounds and made just 55m against the Raiders last week, in what was the Cowboys’ sixth loss.
But Scott said he is not paying any attention to that type of criticism.
“I couldn’t care less about my metres to be honest,” he said.
“I’ve never looked at them, I never will. I look at a couple different stats in reviews and metres is definitely not one of them.
“My involvements will come. If you want my metres to get up, the more minutes I play, the more we have the ball … the metres will come naturally. It’s not a statistic I look at.
“I’m here to do my job in the team and try to help the other guys as best as I can.
“We have a great forward pack. As we play better as a team, the forward pack’s going to play to its potential.”
Coach Paul Green named an unchanged side for Friday’s meeting with Penrith in Bathurst, despite the club’s continued slump.
The only change came outside the 17, with Javid Bowen back in the squad of 21 at the expense of Enari Tuala.
Green warned however that if the team’s form does not change soon, he will be forced to shake things up.
“We’re not too far away from that point now,” he said. “Everyone’s aware of that.”
