1) It was a night that epitomised the Cowboys’ season as they couldn’t work their way out of a funk.
They started the match with 70 per cent possession in the opening 10 minutes but failed to convert it into points.
Once the Tigers got a roll on, North Queensland struggled to claw their way back.
2) North Queensland had one of their worst games of the season with a 64 per cent completion rate, 26 missed tackles and 13 errors.
3) It has been a huge fall from grace for the Cowboys after they started the season as finals contenders.
Their loss on Thursday night was their 12th of the season and has cemented them to 13th on the ladder.
4) The referees are almost certain to come under fire yet again after ruling a Cowboys’ no try in the 30th minute.
Tigers captain Moses Mbye was allegedly obstructed when Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt crossed in the corner despite replays showing otherwise.
5) Cowboys playmakers Michael Morgan and Jake Clifford were picked out all night on their last set plays.
The Tigers were able to heap on the kick pressure and it resulted in a kick out on the full and a deliberate forward pass.
