Dargan was off-contract with the Broncos at season’s end and the Rabbitohs have this afternoon announced he will be part of their top-30 squad until the end of 2021.
Rabbitohs football general manager Shane Richardson said the international and Australian Schoolboys representative will add depth to the club’s playmaker options.
“Troy is a wonderful talent and he will add to the depth of our halves stocks for at least the next two years,” Richardson said.
“He comes from a great pedigree of representative football for New South Wales, Australia and the Cook Islands and we’re certain that he will thrive under the coaching of Wayne (Bennett) and his team here at Souths.”
