YOU have you made your choices, NRL fans, Ben Hunt, Johnathan Thurston and Dave Taylor are the most popular players at Queensland’s clubs.

We have invited fans to take part in our Fans Favourite surveys all season and have analysed the results to come up with the most popular and most

The selection of Hunt (Broncos) and Thurston (Cowboys) will surprise no one. They are the playmakers at their clubs and have had outstanding seasons.

Taylor’s selection will divide Titans fans who either love the “Coal Train” or can’t stand him. But the Queensland Origin rep has been more consistent at club level in 2014 and filled in when the Titans needed a centre mid-season.

He edged out NSW Origin backrower Greg Bird for the top spot. Bird started the season strongly with ratings of 8-8-7-8-8-8-9 but his form fell away post-Origin while suspensions and representative duties restricted his appearances for the Titans to 17 games.

Taylor rates sevens and eights through the season, with a nine against the Knights in round 9.

The consistency award at the Titans goes to departing backrower Mark Minichiello, despite him losing his first-grade spot in the middle of the year.

Halfback Albert Kelly would have been the Titan to beat after starting the season 9-9-8-8 but his season was cruelled by injury.

The injury toll at the Titans this year was so high they used 31 players in the top grade in the regular season. In comparison, the Broncos used 23 and the Cowboys 26.

Thurston collected seven nine-out-of-10 ratings and a perfect 10 during the regular season to dominate voting at the Cowboys. He averaged an incredible 8.4.

His Queensland Origin team-mate Matt Scott was the player to push Thurston hardest. Scott missed a parcel of games after Origin II but still averaged above eight throughout the season.

Scott takes out the most-consistent award ahead of fullback Michael Morgan who had a breakthrough year for the Cowboys.

On the subject of breakthrough seasons, Hunt certainly had one for Brisbane.

Hunt gathered six nine-pointers and eight eight-pointers in the regular season.

Prop Josh McGuire wasn’t far behind and he wins the most-consistent Bronco award.

Thanks for voting all year.
