The Sharks have been ravaged by injury to their backline ahead of a huge local derby clash with St George-Illawarra.
Cronulla’s two-month struggle to field a full-strength team continues with gun winger Ronaldo Multialo (knee) ruled out ahead of the clash at WIN Stadium on Sunday.
Mulitalo joins fellow winger Sione Katoa (HIA protocols) and Siosifa Talakai (hamstring) on the sidelines, the trio ranked alongside the best ball carriers in the competition.
Mawene Hitroti will play his first NRL game of the year by replacing Multialo, while Sam Stonestreet and Kayal Iro replace Katoa and Talakai respectively.
