WELL, that’s that then. One down and, hopefully, two to go.
The Blues’ 22-12 win was probably not unexpected, given the changes to the Maroons side, but hope springs eternal in a Maroon heart.
So what did you make of it?
Is this the end of the road for Queensland’s latest and greatest dynasty, or can Kevvie and the boys turn it around in the next two games?
Would you make changes? Billy will come back in obviously if he is fit. Same with Gillett, or do you think he would be underdone? Would you bring back Matt Scott?
There were a couple of crucial decisions that went the Blues’ way, but surely they weren’t to blame for the loss – or were they?
Where do you see the Maroons improving and, now that the Blues 11 debutantes are debutantes no longer, how can they be stopped?
As Fatty said last night, they’ll only get better. But can we?
