A RUNAWAY try to Michael Jennings gives the Roosters a narrow lead at half-time after Shaun Kenny-Dowall opened the scoring for the Chooks and Darius Boyd hit back with an 80 metre try - just beating Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to the line. HALF-TIME: Roosters 12-6 Knights.

AFTER Cam Smith horribly messes up a penalty attempt that would have levelled the scores, the Warriors regain some composure before powerhouse winger Konrad Hurrell finishes some good play down the right to go over in the corner. Johnson kicks the goal to extend the Warriors lead beyond a converted try. Warriors 24-16 Storm.

The Storm look ominous at the start of the second half with Billy Slater going over after a typical combination play with Cooper Cronk and Cam Smith. Maurice Blair makes it two in quick succession - going over in the opposite corner just a minute after the Storm bombed one, with Ryan Hoffman dropping the ball as he attempted a pass with the try-line gaping.
