A RUNAWAY try to Michael Jennings gives the Roosters a narrow lead at half-time after Shaun Kenny-Dowall opened the scoring for the Chooks and Darius Boyd hit back with an 80 metre try - just beating Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to the line. HALF-TIME: Roosters 12-6 Knights.

WHEN it was legal he was the best in the business at using his muscular shoulder and Sonny Bill took us back to yesteryear with a big hit on Willie Mason. The Knights get a penalty but no damage done on the scoreboard. Knights 0-0 Roosters.

AFTER a sluggish start the Sharks have piled on the points with three converted tries and a penalty goal to cruise to a big half-time lead over the Panthers. Gordon, Carney and Feki the try-scorers. HALF-TIME: Sharks 20-0 Panthers.

THE Warriors bomb a good opportunity to kill the game with a terrible last play option and the Storm take full advantage, going 90 metres in the next set for Cooper Cronk to score. Cam Smith adds the extras and the Warriors are clinging on to a two-point lead with five minutes to play. Warriors 24-22 Storm.

AFTER Cam Smith horribly messes up a penalty attempt that would have levelled the scores, the Warriors regain some composure before powerhouse winger Konrad Hurrell finishes some good play down the right to go over in the corner. Johnson kicks the goal to extend the Warriors lead beyond a converted try. Warriors 24-16 Storm.

The Storm look ominous at the start of the second half with Billy Slater going over after a typical combination play with Cooper Cronk and Cam Smith. Maurice Blair makes it two in quick succession - going over in the opposite corner just a minute after the Storm bombed one, with Ryan Hoffman dropping the ball as he attempted a pass with the try-line gaping. Warriors 18-16 Storm.

THAT'S half-time and there's plenty of work to do for the Storm if they're to claw their way back into this one. Warriors 18-4 Storm.

AFTER soaking up a few waves of Storm attack, Thomas Leuluai goes over for a try under the sticks and Johnson follows up with a conversion and a penalty goal - both from in front of the sticks. Warriors 18-4 Storm.

AND just like that the Storm are on the board through Justin O'Neill - the winger taking full toll of a Cooper Cronk 40-20. That's immediately followed by a Cam Smith 40-20 and the Storm go breathtakingly close to a leveller, but are denied through a forward pass in the right corner. Warriors 10-4 Storm.
