IT was a thrilling NRL finals match but one riddled with mistakes.

Who flew and who flopped in the Roosters’ narrow win over the Broncos?

Michael Gordon 5 Not much impact but, importantly, kicked every goal required of him.	FULLBACK	David Mead 5 The surprise starter at fullback, his time there lasted only 20 minutes.
Latrell Mitchell 8 Goes OK this kid. And when something special was required, he was the bloke who delivered.	WING	Corey Oates 7 Scored two tries and ran for 145m. Some game.
Ryan Matterson 6 Didn't get to see a lot of footy on his edge.	CENTRE	James Roberts 5 Wakes this morning with the palm print of Latrell Mitchell on his chest. Did score a nice try but was owned for the Roosters match-winner.
Mitchell Aubusson 5 Mr Reliable was solid but will have bigger moments in the NRL playoffs.	CENTRE	Tautau Moga 6 Ran strongly but made a couple of poor reads in defence.
Blake Ferguson 5 Owes Latrell Mitchell a crate of whatever he drinks.	WING	Jordan Kahu 5 Largely contained by the Roosters defence.
Luke Keary 8 How did the Bunnies ever let this bloke go? Seriously. MOM.	5/8	Anthony Milford 5 Allowed two tries on a night when the difference was as many points.
Mitchell Pearce 6 As usual, Pearce was busy but was outshone by his halves partner in this one.	H/BACK	Benji Marshall 7 There was some Tigers Benji. Some Dragons Benji. Still, the old bloke was the Broncos most dangerous.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 7 Held the Roosters middle together.	PROP	Sam Thaiday 5 Smiled into the Channel Nine cameras afterwards but was well below his best.
Jake Friend 7 Plenty tougher than even his tattoo sleeves. Nice try assist, too.	HOOKER	Ben Hunt 6 Couple of errors at dummy-half but was still busting his gut at the finish and almost won it for the Broncos.
Dylan Napa 6 Started strong early, but finished with 96m.	PROP	Adam Blair 4 Shocker.
Boyd Cordner 7 OK, so he tripped over with the tryline open. But still, he scored another. And was strong throughout.	2ND ROW	Alex Glenn 7 Worked his backside off all night.
Aidan Guerra 7 Played like the bloke who once inspired the 'Guerra Warfare' headline.	2ND ROW	Matt Gillett 6 Solid but not without an error and four missed tackles.
Isaac Liu 7 Ran like wet paint.	LOCK	Josh McGuire 7 Anyone else think this bloke looks a little like fighting Irishman Conor McGregor? No? Fair enough.
Kane Evans 5 Received little time but at least got to break the NRL finals hoodoo that saw him winning at just per cent.	I/CHANGE	Kodi Nikorima 6 Came into the contest when the Broncos were already down. Discuss.
Sio Siua Taukeiaho 6 Solid off the bench.	I/CHANGE	Jai Arrow 4 Limited opportunity.
Connor Watson 4 Limited time to shine.	I/CHANGE	Joe Ofahengaue 6 Strong off the bench.
Daniel Tupou 2 Two runs, no tackles and appeared to tear his groin. Again.	I/CHANGE	Herman Ese’ese 6 The Bronco so nice they named him twice. Went OK.
