Much has been made of Parramatta’s struggles to hold junior talent, but the club still boasts a number of emerging stars that are knocking on the door of first-grade debuts. We reveal every NRL club’s rookie prospects.

Last year’s rookie class of 2024 included some names whose star won’t fade for a long time: Lachlan Galvin, Blaize Talagi, Jack Bostock and Lehi Hopoate.

But there were some who also weren’t ready for the big time.

This year will be no different, with expectations already high on some youngsters who have received their first taste of an NRL pre-season - and lived to tell the story.

Junior Wallabies star Onitoni Large at Manly, Australian Schoolboys star Cody Hopwood in Newcastle, and Robert Toia at the Roosters are considered sure things.

Brent Read, David Riccio and Michael Carayannis cast their eye over which rookies can make the jump in 2025.
