Wests Tigers prop David Klemmer has avoided a ban for two separate incidents out of Sunday’s loss to the Dragons, although the veteran has copped two fines for a couple of second-half incidents that earnt the ire of the officials.

Klemmer has been fined $1000 for a grade 1 careless high tackle on Kyle Flanagan that convinced the Dragons five-eighth that the former rep star would be sent to the sin bin.

Klemmer has also been offered a $1000 fine for another grade 1 careless high tackle – this time on Zac Lomax – that sparked a melee with six minutes to go.

Most people were stunned that the Tigers finished the game with 13 players given Klemmer already been warned, while teammate Stefano Utoikamanu also joined the fray as tensions threatened to boil over.

Klemmer will play $1000 for each offence if he takes the early guilty plea, while he risks $1500 per charge if he fights them and loses.

Teammate Justin Matamua and Titans forward Jaimin Jolliffe have also been offered $1000 fines for grade 1 offences out of Sunday’s games.
