Rugby league has a new power couple after two superstar speedsters went public with their relationship, delighting footy fans.

NRLW star Jaime Chapman and Queensland State of Origin star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow have gone public with their relationship, much to the delight of the footy world.

On Friday, Chapman shared a candid selfie of her and Tabuai-Fidow to Instagram with a love heart and lock emoji.

Tabuai-Fidow commented with love hearts, while Chapman’s Instagram bio now features the letter H and a black love heart.

One fan joked in the comments: “Move over Nathan & and Mary”.

NRLW stars Lauren Brown, Jess Sergis, Tarryn Aiken, Mahalia Murphy, Kennedy Cherrington and Teagan Berry all commented messages of support.

Chapman, 22, is one of the stars of the NRLW competition, lighting up the league with her trademark length of the field tries for the Gold Coast Titans and the NSW State of Origin side.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is also a tryscoring speedster. The 23-year-old has emerged as a bona fide star of the NRL after moving from the Cowboys to the Dolphins and is thriving at the expansion team.

‘The Hammer’ is also a staple of Queensland’s State of Origin side, scoring nine tries from just seven matches, already halfway to Greg Inglis’ Maroons record of 18 career tries.

Chapman stepped out solo at the season ending Dally M Awards in October but looked all loved up as the couple made their relationship Insta official.

A hamstring injury cruelled the end of Chapman’s NRLW season but she returned to action in Aussie colours, scoring a double for the women’s Prime Minister’s XIII in a 50-0 win over PNG.

Tabuai-Fidow was part of the Australian Kangaroos team that won the Pacific Championships, defeating Tonga in the final.

Chapman and Tabuai-Fidow aren’t the only rugby league power couples.

Four-time NRLW premiership winner Millie Boyle is married to Newcastle Knights forward Adam Elliott, and Roosters star Jess Sergis is dating Manly’s Tommy Talau.
