HE is back from an eight-match suspension but Manly forward Richie Fa'aoso is refusing to tone down his aggressive playing style.
Fa'aoso will confront North Queensland in Townsville on Monday night after serving a massive ban for two spear tackles in the one game on South Sydney's Greg Inglis back in early May.
Rather than tiptoe back into the game, Fa'aoso is fired up and ready to make an immediate impact.
Asked would he have to be more careful, Fa'aoso said: "No, no, not being careful.
FA'AOSO OPENS UP ON SUSPENSION
"I'm just going out there, I'm not changing a thing.
"I can't wait. I like to have a dig. You have to play the game tough. It's a tough sport."
Manly will welcome Fa'aoso back after losing forwards Joe Galuvao and Jason King for the season. He will bring aggression and grunt to a Manly team which pumped Parramatta 50-10 last Monday night.
"It's been pretty tough," Fa'aoso said of his suspension. "The time has come now and I'm ready to go. I'm just keen to get in there and mix it with the boys. It's been a long time. I'm ready."
Fa'aoso also conceded he "owed" his teammates.
"I reckon I do," he said.
Manly coach Geoff Toovey stressed Fa'aoso must watch his aggression.
"He just has to be careful," Toovey said. "Richie is a physical player and with that comes some responsibility.
" He knows what he needs to do and where he went wrong before and not to go there again."
When suspended, Fa'aoso told The Daily Telegraph: "No one goes out there to put him on his head, no way. Someone said I targeted him, no way."
