Jesse Ramien will commence training with Cronulla next week — his first steps back towards rediscovering the blistering form that landed him a Junior Kangaroos and NSW under-20s jumper.

On holidays with his family, Cronulla are set to wait until Ramien is back in Sydney over the weekend before announcing the gun centre is back at the Sharks for the next four years.

The 22-year-old never settled in his first year at the Knights and was granted an immediate release in August.
