EXPERT TIPS: Opinion split on Game One

Punters are split on who will win tonight’s State of Origin series opener. The Blues remain $1.85 favourites with the Queenslanders slight outsiders at $2.

“It’s virtually dollar for dollar although margin punters are on the Blues to win 1-12.”

In other Origin betting news:

  • Queensland rookie Corey Oates is comfortably best supported and favourite ($8) in the 1st Try Scorer market
  • With showers around Sydney, there is good money for Under 30.5 points at $1.80
