Our experts check out the teams for NRL round 6 and offer their tips

Check which tipsters flew and which flopped last week, and see who they’ve banked on to gain an edge in round six.

Loz & Dog: Should Benji Marshall re-sign with the Dragons?

PAUL Crawley had a big week last week, tipping seven of eight winners to take a three-point lead at the top.

Round 6 looks to have a number of clear winners, so it could come down to the upset call that helps him extend his lead or has others close the gap again.

Follow Phil Rothfield, Dean Ritchie, Rebecca Wilson, Paul Crawley, Barry Toohey, Christian Nicolussi, David Riccio, Nick Walshaw, James Phelps and Paul Kent throughout the season for advice and tips.

Have they got it right this week or are some way off the mark?

ROUND 6 FIXTURES: Broncos v Dragons, Rabbitohs v Roosters, Eels v Raiders, Warriors v Sea Eagles, Panthers v Cowboys, Sharks v Titans, Knights v Wests Tigers, Storm v Bulldogs.

   Paul Crawley's top tips:

   Score so far: 27

No brainer: Can't go past the Broncos over the Dragons in Brisbane.

Upset: Newcastle have shown plenty of grit and at home they just might get their first win of the year.

Coin toss: Storm v Bulldogs, two quality teams struggling for consistency. At home you'd have to take Melbourne, but only just.

   Paul Kent's top tips:

   Score so far: 24

No brainer: Broncos have far too many points in them for the Dragons.

Upset: Manly will prove too tough for the Warriors, even away.

Coin toss: Penrith, with plenty of points in them, at home against the Cowboys will be tough to beat.

   David Riccio's top tips:

   Score so far: 24

No brainer: Sharks. Did well to come from 10 points behind against the Tigers at Campbelltown. Back at home, too strong.

Upset: Raiders: Hard-running pack and plenty of strike on the edges to overcome the Eels, whose attack is lacking cohesion.

Coin toss: Warriors. Needed golden point extra-time to beat the Roosters last week and only other win was against Newcastle. Is it too late to change to Manly?

   Nick Walshaw's top tips:

   Score so far: 24

No brainer: Brisbane to beat St George Illawarra, who like your RSL club lothario, simply cannot score.

Upset: Canterbury over Melbourne, after which Sam Kasiano will devour Storm Man whole.

Coin toss: Any game involving the Warriors.

   Barry Toohey's top tips:

   Score so far: 23

No brainer: There will be calls for blanket drug-testing if the Dragons cause a boilover against the Broncos.

Upset: Can see the Dogs bouncing back and knocking over Storm in Melbourne.

Coin toss: There will be nothing in the Knights-Tigers clash at Hunter Stadium.

   James Phelps's top tips:

   Score so far: 22

No brainer: It's not if, but by how many when it comes to the Broncos beating the Dragons. I can't even see the Dragons scoring a try.

Upset: Good one week, horrible the next. The Bulldogs' form is a Richter scale. Thankfully for Dogs fans it is their turn to quake Melbourne this weekend.

Coin toss: Let's see what the Sea Eagles have got for the Warriors after a well-deserved long turnaround.

   Dean Ritchie's top tips:

   Score so far: 22

No brainer: How could you go past the Broncos against the Dragons?

Upset: Roosters to secure their first win of the season.

Coin toss: Bulldogs couldn't possibly play as bad as last Monday night.

   Rebecca Wilson's top tips:

   Score so far: 20

No brainer: Broncos because the Dragons are rubbish.

Upset: Titans, they have some real fight in them.

Coin toss: Rabbits/Roosters. Surely the Roosters are close?

   Christian Nicolussi's top tips:

   Score so far: 19

No brainer: Even if the Dragons can find tryline, the Broncos will find it more.

Upset: The Panthers have been in every game and will give the Cowboys some cheek at home.

Coin toss: Eels and Raiders have both been solid, especially their respective halves. Good luck.

   Phil Rothfield's top tips:

   Score so far: 17

No brainer: The Broncos will be far too strong for the Dragons.

Upset: Warriors to knock off Manly at home.

Coin toss: Bulldogs v Storm to go down to the wire.
