Our experts check out the teams for NRL round 12 and offer their tips

THINGS are tight at the top but we won’t see much movement next week, with most of our tipsters picking the same four teams to take home the two points this week.

TAB Market Update: NRL RND 12 ST George V Nth QLD

THINGS are tight at the top but we won’t see much movement next week, with most of our tipsters picking the same four teams to take home the two points this week.

Our leaders Paul Crawley and Paul Kent have identical tips this week along with four other tipsters.

Follow Phil Rothfield, Dean Ritchie, Rebecca Wilson, Paul Crawley, Barry Toohey, Christian Nicolussi, David Riccio, Nick Walshaw, James Phelps and Paul Kent throughout the season for advice and tips.

Have they got it right for round two or are some of them way off the mark?

ROUND 3 FIXTURES: Broncos v Wests Tigers, Dragons v Cowboys, Raiders v Bulldogs, knights v Eels.

   Paul Crawley's top tips:

   Score so far: 59

No brainer: Eels over Knights a formality.

Upset: I've gone all favourites this week.

Coin toss: Raiders v Bulldogs, nothing would surprise me here.

   Paul Kent's top tips:

   Score so far: 59

No brainer: I've gone the Dragons at WIN Stadium.

Upset: Canberra had too much for the Dogs at Belmore. Now they're home.

Coin toss: Has to be Parramatta.

   James Phelps's top tips:

   Score so far: 57

No brainer: No bet is safe this weekend. The Bulldogs should beat the Raiders. I stress the word SHOULD.

Upset: See above. All my tips have been made on the advice off a coin toss this week. Tails never fails.

Coin toss: The Dragons to beat the Origin depleted premiers.

   David Riccio's top tips:

   Score so far: 56

No brainer: Dragons. No Thurston, Morgan, Tamou, O'Neill, or Scott for the Cowboys. Benji to return.

Upset: Tigers. Word out of the black and gold camp is the Tigers are supremely confident up against the Origin-hit Broncos.

Coin toss: Bulldogs. The Dogs scored their first back-to-back win of the year last week, proving consistency isn't their strong point.

   Barry Toohey's top tips:

   Score so far: 56

No brainer: on't reckon there is a standout tip this weekend.

Upset: The multitude of off-field dramas has clearly caught up with the Eels so they are no certainties to knock over the Knights at Hunter Stadium.

Coin toss: The Raiders-Dogs game in Canberra can go either way.

   Nick Walshaw's top tips:

   Score so far: 56

No brainer: Eels over a gutsy Knights outfit.

Upset: None, although the Wests Tigers, at $4.50, are certainly some value against a Brisbane side missing six Origin players.

Coin toss: Raiders/Dogs.

   Dean Ritchie's top tips:

   Score so far: 54

No brainer: Even these Baby Broncos should be too good for the Tigers at Suncorp.

Upset: The Dragons may just do enough to get past an Origin-depleted Cowboys side.

Coin toss: Raiders-Bulldogs.

   Rebecca Wilson's top tips:

   Score so far: 53

No brainer: Eels. Knights are woeful.

Upset: Dragons. So many Cowboys missing.

Coin toss: Broncos-Tigers. See Upset...

   Phil Rothfield's top tips:

   Score so far: 50

No brainer: Broncos to smash the Wests Tigers even without their rep stars.

Upset: Raiders to knock off the Bulldogs.

Coin toss: Knights very hard to beat on their home ground against Parramatta.

   Christian Nicolussi's top tips:

   Score so far: 46

No brainer: The Eels can score points, and Knights can't defend them.

Upset: Tigers are $4, but they're full of confidence after a win. Suauso Sue is a big plus.

Coin toss: Austin and Sezer versus Grub and Mbye. Will the real halves please stand up.
