Titans v Dragons

NAILBITERS
Four of the past five clashes between the Titans and the Dragons have been decided by two points or less. Nine of their 15 games have been decided by six points or less.
RED-HOT ATTACK
Gold Coast have the third-best red zone attack of any team so far this season. On average, they have scored one try for every 8.5 tackles they have inside their opponents 20m line.
HOME SICK
The Dragons have lost 12 of their past 13 matches away from home. Seven of these losses have been by 13 points or more.
RUNNING MACHINE
Josh Dugan ran for 287 metres in the Dragons’ loss to the Broncos last week. It was a career-best effort from Dugan surpassing his previous best of 285 running metres for Canberra in 2009. Dugan has scored four tries in his past six games against the Titans.
Betting Summary: Punters are tipping the upset. The Dragons are $2.30 into $2.15 and have attracted the bulk of the early money.

Bulldogs v Warriors

BULLDOGS HAVE THE EDGE
The Bulldogs hold the edge in this with 19 wins from 33 matches against the Warriors. Canterbury also have a fantastic recent record in New Zealand, winning 11 of their past 13 games against the Warriors there.
POINT SCORERS
Despite their poor record, the Warriors have been one of the better attacking teams this season scoring the second-most points (23.3 per game) and making the equal most line-breaks (five per game) with the Cowboys.
DOGS DOMINATE
Canterbury have won their past five games against the Kiwi side, with four of those decided by eight points or less.
THE MEAN MACHINE
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck had an incredible three matches against the Bulldogs last season. He scored three tries, had 69 runs for 787 metres (running for more than 260 metres in each game), 23 tackle busts and four line-breaks.
Betting Summary: Bulldogs have firmed from $2.15 into $1.85 with roughly 75 per cent of the money for them to beat the Warriors.

Broncos v Knights

BRISBANE HAVE THE WOOD
Brisbane have won nine of 10 matches (with one draw) against Newcastle since 2011. Eight of those wins were by double figure margins.
AWAY GAME BLUES
The Knights have lost each of their four away games this season, failing to score more than 18 points.
PENALTY PROTECTORS
Brisbane are conceding the fewest penalties so far this season at just 5.2 per game while Newcastle are conceding the most at 9.3 per game.
SUNCORP SUCCESS
Since the start of last season, Brisbane have won 14 of 17 matches at Suncorp including each of the past five games. Seven of those wins have been by 20 points or more.
Betting Summary: Newcastle have an 18.5 point start, which is the biggest line this season so far. Brisbane are very popular through the multis at short odds.

Since 2005, the Sharks have won eight of their past 11 matches at Canberra Stadium, including a golden-point thriller 21-20 in round 19 last season.

These two teams are being awarded the most penalties, with the Raiders receiving 10.2 per game and the Sharks receiving 9 per game.
TRAVEL SICKNESS
Cronulla have struggled away from Shark Park this season winning just one of three matches.

Jack Wighton has scored three tries in four career games against the Sharks, including a double in Round 1 last season.
Betting Summary: This is a tight betting affair but the early money has been for the Sharks who are slight outsiders to get the road win in Canberra.

Craig Bellamy has an outstanding record against Jason Taylor, winning seven of his eight matches against him (87.5 per cent).
TIGHT DEFENCE
Five of Melbourne’s six matches this season have been decided by eight points or less. The Storm are yet to concede more than 18 points this season.
TOUGH TIGERS
Melbourne have won just six of 15 away matches against the Tigers, split between Leichhardt and Campbelltown.
LINE BREAKERS
The Tigers have scored 21 of the 25 tries through line-breaks.
Betting Summary: The money has been for Melbourne here. Both sides opened $1.90 a week ago with the Storm firming into $1.73.
