TIGERS hooker Robbie Farah was stretchered off the field against the Bulldogs after he suffered a concussion when his head made heavy contact with the ground in a tackle.

He was sent to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Josh Aloiai also didn’t return after failing a concussion test.

Backrower Sauaso Sue went down with a rib cartilage injury in the warm-up before Sunday’s clash. The extent of his injury is unknown.

The Knights and the NSW Blues have been dealt another injury blow when Trent Hodkinson was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Sharks.

The halfback, whose knee problems are well documented, suffered a knock to his knee during training last week and did not recover in time to take the field.

Hodkinson is aiming to return for Newcastle’s round 11 clash against the Tigers.

Winger Nathan Ross pulled his hamstring in the warm-up and was a late omission.

Jacob Saifiti suffered a broken wrist and is likely to be sidelined for an extended period.

Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans played through an ankle complaint against the Broncos but he is expected to be fit come round 11.

The Sea Eagles could be without Martin Taupau for up to three weeks after he was charged with a grade two dangerous throw on Brisbane’s Matt Gillett.

Martin Taupau is placed on report for his tackle on Matt Gillett.

The Broncos are set to be boosted by the early return of hooker Andrew McCullough from a hamstring injury against the Cowboys in round 11.

Melbourne centre Ben Hampton coped a calf injury just before halftime against the Cowboys. He’ll have scans to determine the extent of the injury.

In the same game, Cowboys hooker Rory Kostjasyn suffered a neck injury. He too will need scans to determine the severity.

In Christchurch, James Segeyaro left the field after a head knock against the Warriors and didn’t return. New Zealand hooker, Jazz Tevega suffered the same fate.

Penrith’s Waqa Blake was forced to stay behind in Australia and play reserve grade after the centre had a passport mishap.

It’s believed he wasn’t able to travel to Christchurch after his passport was damaged in a washing machine and because he travels on a Fijian passport a replacement was not able to be obtained in time for him to fly out with the side.

Parramatta’s Kenny Edwards suffered a heavy hit to the head against the Rabbitohs and didn’t return.

Souths utility Jason Clark’s night ended in gruesome fashion after a head clash with Isaac DeGois. Clark’s facial cut required 26 stitches and left him looking like Frankenstein.

Bunnies winger Michael Oldfield didn’t see out the 80 minutes after leaving the field with a hamstring injury.

Raiders lock Shaun Fensom came off with a shoulder injury against the Dragons, but he had it strapped up and returned. He will have scans to determine the extent of the injury.
