QUEENSLAND’S head coaches and three Maroons legends will headline The Courier-Mail NRL season launch lunch in Brisbane on March 2.
New Gold Coast Titans coach Justin Holbrook will take to the stage alongside the Broncos’ Anthony Seibold and Cowboys’ Paul Green just 10 days before Round 1 of the new season starts.
The coaches will share their views on the hottest issues in the game with The Courier-Mail’s chief rugby league writer Peter Badel, and provide insights into their teams’ preparations for 2020.
Queensland greats Mal Meninga, Darren Lockyer and Gorden Tallis will also share the stage with The Courier-Mail’s chief sportswriter Robert ‘Crash’ Craddock as the NRL marks 40 years of Origin.
The Courier-Mail’s annual NRL season lunch is a rare opportunity to hear from those running the game and overseeing the fortunes of Queensland’s NRL teams.
NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg will open the lunch with his vision for rugby league in 2020, and sit down for a Q+A with event host and Fox League presenter Yvonne Sampson.
This year’s lunch event will be held at Brisbane’s hottest new dining and function venue, Howard Smith Wharves, and is sponsored by the NRL, Ladbrokes, XXXX, Triple M, Kayo and Fox League.
