Cameron Munster capped off a stunning 2022 in the best way possible.

The Melbourne Storm star was enjoying his off-season break in Italy when he got down on one knee and popped the question to his long-time partner Bianca McMahon.

The happy couple shared their news with their followers on social media with Munster captioning the snaps: “Leaving Italy with extra baggage. Hi fiance.”

Munster and McMahon welcomed their son Jaxon Kian into the world in late 2021, with the youngster nestled in between his parents for the magical photos.

NRL stars far and wide were quick to share their congratulations with the happy couple with Harry Grant, Angus Crichton and Nicho Hynes among those in the comments.

The now Munster’s have been enjoying a European vacation after Munster’s leading role in helping Australia win the Rugby League World Cup.

A visit to the romance capital of France wasn’t the place for the question to be popped with Munster holding out to bend the knee at Lake Como in Italy.

While the Melbourne Storm’s season ended at the hands of the Canberra Raiders, Munster produced a stunning season in 2022.

He helped Queensland to an upset State of Origin victory before leading Australia over Samoa.

The Storm star turned his back on an eye-watering four-year deal worth a reported $5.6 million to join the newly formed Dolphins.

Instead opting to sign a four-year contract extension worth $4 million to remain with the Storm for effectively the remainder of his career.
