Don't miss out on the headlines from NRL. Followed categories will be added to My News.
1. ROOSTERS prop Dylan Napa can no longer claim his controversial tackling is knocking players out by accident. Napa broke Korbin Sims’ jaw earlier this year and knocked out Andrew McCullough in a sickening incident. The NRL must stamp out his dangerous technique if they are serious about cleaning up the game.
CONTROVERSIAL HIT: Calls for Napa to be suspended
2. THE Broncos are a team few others would want to face in the finals. On their day, Brisbane can beat any team in the competition and they have hit their straps at the right time of the year with big wins against top four teams the Rabbitohs and Roosters.
3. BRONCOS halves Anthony Milford and Kodi Nikorima upstaged Roosters guns Cooper Cronk and Luke Keary. Milford’s kicking game was excellent to mount pressure on the Roosters and Nikorima was electric with the ball.
4. BRONCOS winger Corey Oates has scored the most tries in NRL since 2015. Oates brought up his 62nd try in the past four seasons to move to the top of the list and outline his consistency. He has had a sensational season.
5. ROOKIE-of-the-year contender Jamayne Isaako is just the third player in Broncos history to score 200 points in a season. Isaako joined club legends Darren Lockyer and Michael de Vere in racking up the impressive milestone in what is essentially his first full season in the NRL.
