Tevita Pangai needs to get his act together, or he could end up joining the undesirable club of NRL’s most suspended players.
TPJ will spend the Broncos next four NRL matches on the sidelines, after taking the early guilty plea for a grade two dangerous contact charge on Cowboys centre Justin O’Neill.
At just 24 years of age, TPJ has played 74 games and already spent 12 weeks on the sidelines.
“I don’t think he’s the silliest [player in the NRL] but he needs to curb his behaviour before he gets into some company he wouldn’t want to keep”, The Daily Telegraph’s Adam Mobbs told the Monday Bunker.

“John Hopoate had 45 weeks on the sideline over his career. Luke O’Donnell, Craig Smith both had 32 weeks. Greg Bird had 30, Daniel Williams 28 weeks. If Tevita Pangai Jr doesn’t stop stuff like that he is going to be missing full seasons on the sideline.”
“That hit to me is just unforgivable.
The Broncos have a young forward pack and after the loss of Matt Lodge, the Broncos cant afford to not have Pangai, says The Daily Telegraph’s Fatima Kdouh.
“Whether he likes it or not Tevita is a leader in that group now and he needs to clean up his act, because the Broncos are more than ever going to need him this year.”
