Everything you need to know about Super Netball season 2025: Fever name training partner; Giants, Lightning join list shuffle

West Coast Fever have named Caitlyn Brown as a training partner as teams continue to shuffle their lists due to injury and maternity leave as the pre-season gets underway.

Call for more talk around pregnancies

West Coast Fever has signed two-time Jill McIntosh Medallist Caitlyn Brown as a training partner as Super Netball clubs continue to refine their lists ahead of the 2025 season.

The Fever announced the addition of the defender to their training partner list following a stellar season last year, with coach Dan Ryan feeling she had become one of the most consistent performers for the Fever reserves and in the WA Netball League.

The addition of Brown complements a deep Fever defensive line-up that includes imports Kadie-Ann Dehaney and Fran Williams as well as Diamond Sunday Aryang and younger sister Ruth, who was elevated to the main list after being the club’s nominated athlete in 2024.

The club is yet to make an announcement on the playing future of Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard for this season though, after last week’s heartbreaking revelation she had suffered a miscarriage.

The Swifts and Giants have also made changes to their line-ups due to the pregnancies of midcourters Maddy Proud and Gina Crampton respectively, while Emily Mannix, who gave birth to daughter Mabel last month, remains on the Vixens’ contracted list.

The Sunshine Coast Lightning are also on the hunt for a replacement player after defensive midcourter Ava Black ruptured her ACL last week.
