There was no shortage of elite sport stars walking down the iconic Met Gala carpet on the first Monday of May in New York City.
F1 and style icon Sir Lewis Hamilton was one of the co-chairs for fashion’s biggest night alongside the great Anna Wintour, as he switched the Miami Formula 1 track for the carpet within 24 hours.
This year’s carpet theme: Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, explored the history of Black Dandyism - a cultural movement spanning decades of style, aesthetic and tradition - the dress code with a particular focus on sharp suits and menswear.
In attendance: the Williams sisters, Angel Reese made her Met debut, Olympic icons and NFl stars to name a few.
Missing: LeBron James was a late withdrawal, despite being the event’s honourary chair.
