Bournemouth will offer Welsh wonder David Brooks a huge pay rise to keep Manchester United and Tottenham at bay.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe wants to reward the exciting midfielder, who has been a star since signing from Sheffield United.
United are drooling over former Manchester City academy graduate Brooks and are planning a move for him either at the end of the season or sooner if an auction starts.
The Old Trafford club have been doing their homework on the 21-year-old, who plays for former United legend Ryan Giggs at international level, and think he would fit in well.
RED DEVILS SKIPPER SET FOR AXEING
United captain Antonio Valencia is set to leave Old Trafford in the summer as his representatives have “started negotiations” with Inter Milan, according to the Mirror.
The Ecuadorian’s contract expires in six months and the Red Devils are reluctant to extend it.
United have an option to extend Valencia’s contract for one more year, and have till March to trigger the extension.
The Red Devils have already used the option to keep David De Gea and Anthony Martial for a further 12 months, but the club have not shown any intention to make an offer to either Valencia or Phil Jones.
OLD TRAFFORD CULT HERO SET TO JET OFF TO ITALY
Red Devils midfielder Marouane Fellaini looks set to leave the club after Serie A giants AC Milan ‘revived their interest’ in the 31-year-old.
The Italian heavyweights are long-time admirers of the Belgian and were even in talks to sign him on a free transfer towards the end of last season.
There’s been speculation surrounding his future at the club since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival, and according to the Daily Mail in the UK, Milan are keen to strike a deal for his services.
By all accounts, getting the deal across the line could prove tricky for Milan, with FC Porto and Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande also keen on obtaining his signature.
