Ali Brigginshaw (Brisbane Broncos)

An icon of Queensland and Australian rugby league, Brigginshaw is back for her seventh season with the Brisbane Broncos.

She has helped the Broncos to three premierships and four minor premierships and boasts one of the best kicking games in the competition.

The talented halfback etched her name into Clydesdales history when she scored the club’s inaugural BMD Premiership try in front of a packed out Clive Berghofer Stadium earlier this year.

Shenae Ciesiolka (Brisbane Broncos)

Oakey’s finest is back for another season and is set to cause havoc in the backline.

Ciesiolka crossed over for her first State of Origin try in game two last month and was pivotal to the Clydesdales’ run to finals.

The co-captain was a force to be reckoned with during the BMD Premiership season, scoring two tries in five games.

The partnership of Ciesiolka and Brigginshaw was electric and the duo were undefeated when playing alongside each other, with the Clydesdales winning three games and drawing one in the four clashes they played together.

Jada Ferguson (Brisbane Broncos)

The Norths Devils star hails from Toowoomba and is back for her fourth NRLW campaign with the Broncos.

The utility playmaker helped Norths to the BMD Premiership grand final, where they were eventually defeated by the Mackay Cutters.

Georgia Sim (Gold Coast Titans)

One of the great stories from the 2024 BMD season, Sim was a star on the wing for the Clydesdales in her first season of rugby league.

The rugby sevens convert took the competition by storm as she scored five tries in nine games, with her lightning speed on the edge making her a perennial threat for opposing defences.

Her stellar rookie year was rewarded as she signed a deal with the Titans for the 2024 NRLW season.

Emily Bass (Gold Coast Titans)

The former Scots PGC College student has taken the NRLW by storm in her three seasons with the Broncos and Titans.

After swapping Super W Rugby for league, Bass has been a force to be reckoned with and has starred at State of Origin level for the Maroons.

In just 11 NRLW games, Bass has already crossed over for six tries and has scored eight times in 19 BMD games.

Steph Hancock (St George Illawarra Dragons)

The Australian rugby league legend has taken the next step in her sensational career, making the switch from the Titans to the Dragons for the 2024 season.

Hancock previously played for the Dragons in 2020 and boasts one of the all time great women’s rugby league resumes.

In a 17-year rep career, the forward has played 20 times for Australia and 16 times for Queensland.

Hancock brought a powerful punch off the bench for the Clydesdales during their inaugural season, making countless powerful runs, including one in the lead-up to the try which sealed their spot in finals.

Keeley Davis (Sydney Roosters)

One of the rising talents in the New South Wales Origin set-up, Davis played four games for the Clydesdales and scored two tries in an impressive opening month for the club.

The Clydesdales were undefeated in the two games where she crossed over for a try and she heads into the NRLW season in strong form after an impressive Origin series.

Despite being just 24 years old, Davis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, with 32 NRLW games under her belt, she expertly dictates the flow of the game as a utility hooker.

Kezie Apps (Wests Tigers)

Apps was one of the headline signings in the lead up to the Clydesdales’ debut season and rightfully so.

A Dally M Medallist and State of Origin winning captain, the 33-year-old is one of the best second rowers in the competition.

Apps heads into the 2024 season off the back of a stunning 2023 campaign with the Tigers, where she scored five tries in seven games.

What made this feat all the more impressive was the fact she had scored just two NRLW tries in her career until that sensational run.

Leianne Tufuga (Wests Tigers)

Tufuga was unstoppable for the Clydesdales during the BMD Premiership season with her immense pace and power.

The centre led the competition in run metres with 1540m in 10 games and also led post contact metres gained with 785.

The 22-year-old has wasted no time making an impact at NRLW level, scoring nine tries in 21 games, including five in the 2023 season.

Tara Reinke (Wests Tigers)

Reinke’s meteoric rise saw her make her NRLW debut in 2023, just two years after first taking up the sport.

The Clydesdales co-captain’s impact is always felt in the middle and she led the BMD Premiership in tackles with 343 in 10 games.

Along with being a leader in the forward pack, she boasts impressive stamina to match her strength, as she played 65 minutes or more in six of her 10 BMD games this year.

Mitch Sargent (Wests Tigers assistant coach)

Western Clydesdales head coach Mitch Sargent is set for his first taste of NRLW action having signed with the Wests Tigers as assistant coach.

The Tigers boast the strongest Clydesdales contingent of the NRLW with three players as well as Sargent within their ranks.
