Queensland Barbarians are setting a hot pace in the U14 boys competition at the Pacific Youth Rugby Festival - and they achieved most of their early success on Field 1.
The Baa Baas opened their campaign with an exciting 12-5 win over Queensland Royals before moving to Field 5 for their next game.
Their final match on a busy day was back where the day started - and they showed no sign s of fatigue in defeating Queensland Kiwis 26-7.

The Pacific Youth Rugby Festival, which includes cultural sides representing Australia’s proud Pacific Islander community, will give a stage for the next generation of players.
The tournament has grown exponentially in recent years, with 45 teams across eight divisions playing across four fields each day.
KommunityTV will live stream every match across the three-day tournament, including all of Sunday’s semifinals and grand finals.
