Devon has narrowed the gap to rivals Cripps with a tight four-point win over its rivals in Round 14 of the Tasmanian Netball League.
The 38-34 victory at Ulverstone Sports & Leisure Centre on Saturday has put Devon within four points of the fourth-placed Cripps.
Devon led by nine at halftime and managed to hold on following a second-half comeback by Cripps who fell just short in the final term.
In the 19 & Under game Ava Palmer led Devon to a 52-41 Round 14 win over Cripps.
Devon led at every break on its way to the 11-point win.
Palmer was assisted by Shukuya Broomhall (17 points), Lily Padman (11) and Madeleine Walker (six).
Devon led by 10 points at halftime and it ultimately proved too much of a deficit to overcome for Cripps.

A four-point deficit was all that separated Cripps and Devon when the two rivals met in round seven.
And with both sides gunning for a finals spot, this fourth versus fifth mid-season blockbuster is sure to once again go right down to the wire.
The round 14 clash will be available live and exclusive on KommunityTV this Saturday from 12pm.
Cripps sit fourth, two games ahead of Devon and are coming off three wins from their past five games.
While Devon, who sit fifth, are coming off just two wins from its past five games.
Devon will be looking to get back on the winners list after losing the last three games in a row, all coming against the top three sides in the competition.
Tyrah Bacon is Devon’s leading goal scorer this season with 224 but adding 329 goal assists, while Bellah Parker sits sixth overall and is Cripps leading scorer with 173 goals and 222 assists.
Defensively, Cripps are the third best side in the competition, allowing just 429 points against in 11 games while they sit fourth for scoring with 478 points.
On the flip side, Devon sit fifth on both the defensive side with 483 points scored against and on attack with 466 points for.
It is the final round of the teams playing each other twice before one last set of games ahead of finals.
