Marymount College will have a chance to add to its impressive title record as the Titans Schools League grand finals kick off on Monday.
KommunityTV will exclusively live stream five matches back-to-back on grand final day including the Titans Cup Year 9/10 Boys and Girls deciders, the Titans Challenge Open girls and boys deciders and the Titans Cup Open boys decider.
Marymount will have a shot at a third-straight Titans Cup title after finishing the season unbeaten and powering past Mabel Park in the semi-finals.
It's a Marymount side which features some famed surnames including Basil Coates, the powerhouse younger brother of Melbourne Storm’s Xavier Coates, and Oliver Friend, the son of former Gold Coast veteran Nathan Friend.
But it is a star fullback, Ryder Abell, who has stolen the show this season.
Fresh off his selection in the Confraternity Shield merit team, Abell scored a double and was man of the match in the semi-final.
Marymount will clash with Keebra Park 11s who shocked the Keebra Park 12s in Wednesday’s semi-finals.
Marymount has a shot at the Titans Schools League double with its girls side set to clash with Marsden State High in the Open Girls Challenge grand final.
The Marymount girls have been the form side of the competition, winning all five games in the regular season, and will feature Confraternity Carnival standout Kiara Wright in the front row.
The Titans Challenge boys final will be a cracker with Aquinas College shutting out Trinity College Beenleigh to earn their spot in the grand final.
They will clash with the high-powered Tweed River High who proved too strong for Miami State High.
Tweed River has been unstoppable in the race to the Titans Challenge trophy, and they showed that form in the semi-final with backrower Jesse Whittick inspiring them to a runaway 20-6 win.
Keebra Park will be the favourite to take out the Year 9/10 Girls Titans Cup after they dominated the semi-finals with a 42-6 win over Ipswich State High.
Barnstorming New Zealand front rower Olivia Flikitonga, in her first year in the Keebra Park program, led from the front with a hat trick in the semi-final win.
Keebra Park will clash with a similarly red-hot Marsden State High side who knocked off rivals Mabel Park 32-4.
