2025 Dolphins Cup live stream: Shalom College v Emmaus College, Round 3

Shalom will host Emmaus in Round 3 of the Dolphins Cup, with both teams desperate to secure their first points. The schools also meet in the Dolphins Challenge and NRL Schoolsgirls Cup and you can watch it all LIVE and EXCLUSIVE.

It is a Dolphins Cup clash that shapes as “must-win” if either school wants to play finals football in 2025.

Emmaus College will travel to Bundaberg to clash with Shalom College, with both Dolphins Cup outfits hunting their first win of the season.

The clash will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV as part of a massive schools league triple header with the Dolphins Challenge (Year 10) and Schoolgirls Cup. Watch it all live in the player above.

Emmaus has been dealt a cruel blow in the lead up to the must-win match, after workhorse lock forward Jack O’Neill picked up a shoulder injury in their loss last week.

Emmaus coach Mitchel Smith said the star forward was rated a 50-50 chance to take the field against Shalom.

“It’s a must win really,” Smith said.

“I know it’s only three games in but whoever wins this will probably sneak into the finals.

“We’ll need the boys fighting in the trenches in this one.”

Smith said centre Hudson Keepkie had been a shining light for Emmaus in their opening games, and his strong carries and physical defence would be pivotal against Shalom.

The team’s three-pronged attacking weapon of fullback Lathan McMeeken, and halves Harri Mielland and Will McLaughlin would also need to fire.

Likewise, Shalom’s strike led by fullback Parkka Perrotta-Dowling, centre Kyan Edwards and halfback Tahj Coates would need to be on song.

Smith said Emmaus would need to limit the impact of powerful back rower Aston Fraser, who he likened to The Cathedral College colossus Alekisio Siale.

Smith and his players were “disappointed” that they failed to reproduce in game two against Rockhampton Grammar the same energy and intent that saw them give the highly fancied Cathedral College a real shake in their season opener.

A paltry completion rate proved costly and was something they could ill afford against Shalom, who would be equally desperate to register their first points after losses to St Brendan’s and TCC.

“We’re going to have to be way better against Shalom than we were against Grammar,” Smith said.

“I think we probably completed probably three or four sets in the first half and if you do that you can’t win games.

“We need to control the ball, kick to corners and just focus on playing the game out, not trying to win it in the first 20 or 40 minutes.”
