The Courier Mail will be your only place to catch the first glimpse of the future of Australian hoops with our exclusive live streams of both the boys and girls titles over the next fortnight.

Some of the nation’s brightest basketball stars have emerged through the pathways tournaments, including former NBA players Aron Baynes and Cameron Bairstow, as well as Australian Opals Cayla George and Kirsty Wallace.

The Courier Mail’s live coverage comes as its broadcast partnership with Basketball Queensland enters its fourth year.

“News Corp’s support of our game continues to grow year-on-year and we’re excited to have them back live streaming both the Under-16 Boys and Under-16 Girls State Championships this April,” Basketball Queensland operations manager Chris Angus said.

“The best Queensland athletes will be in attendance with teams from right across the state vying to claiming a Championship.”

Our coverage begins with the under-16 boys championships at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre from April 7-10.
